the 2 year old roof started leaking in the house and we got a call to get it fixed. we tore out the old shingles and surface mounted counter flashing and step flashing with new shingles. we also added a kickout flashing at the bottom of roof to divert water into the gutter and not in the house. We added a rain diverter to deflect the water from upper gutter.
